Re: Old Timers revisited

Sold the barn years ago. Took me 10 years to fully renovate it. Ran it as a rental property for a while, but met a girl in a different country. Got married, moved away. Made a chunk of profittss and bought a little place in upstate New York. The last time I cried was when I shut the door for the la...

Old Timers revisited

{originally posted in this thread... } Like all good comets I come back around after a set number of years. What a road trip reading this thread was. Gary Bolton. Ha. No one mentioned Candy Girl, or LV’s ‘incident’ with a car immobiliser crook lock. That alone dates the members as well as an Antarc...

They do very little to help with the running of the country AFAIK. Is that apart from the 100s of millions of pounds they rake in? I read somewhere it costs 60p per person in the country to pay for the royals. How much does it cost per person to pay for all the scum bags in prison? Not sure of my p...

I'm surrounded by woods and hopefully it will knock the wind down. We're projected for 100mph winds + for the area I live in. I'm hoping for it to start turning East. stu Hey. I'm currently in the woods about 1hr north of NYC. Thinking the woods will either dissipate the wind, or knock a tree onto ...

Can go into the village pub alone, and strike up a convo with someone. If you talk to the barman, some locals will often join in. Don't get that in a city either... Incorrect. I am often in pubs alone. Working away, waiting for people, passing time, getting away from the wife, whatever. I very rare...

Congratulations all round, it seems! (Including for the accident--I know it's an odd thing to say, but you're the luckiest person I've ever heard of; you somehow manage to do all these horrible things to yourself and yet you're still alive and (relatively) fit and healthy! :-)). Cheers, i know what...

Does CappedUp injuring himself count as news? It kinda used to. When i was building here, it was more common than it is now. Skiing and crashing cars had more to play with it than industrial accidents. @mb I thought I was paid up until 2020 or something :) website not going anywhere in a hurry, wel...

Why not keep it and rent it as a holiday cottage? If you don't have a loan on it any more then you should keep it... It's in the centre of wine country... Your barn turned out really well. I remember reading your old posts when it wasn't even close to completion, what a great job you did of it. I know it's rude to ask so feel free not to answer, but overall would that be a healthy profit? It's always nice to see more 06 Nov, 2002 people around this p...

News: cappedup cuts finger!

How do? Ive been absent for a while, apologies. Ever been so busy you struggle to find the time to piss? You know you need to slow down when the time spent getting rid of bodily waste is negotiable as possible extra work time. Anyway, I nearly chopped my finger off yesterday cos I was rushing, so I ...

Hate to say it, and i do - but my ps3 version works just fine. And it is stunning. I can count the proble...
