I did try that but the ship doesn't respond to my controlls. The only thing I can do is look around the cockpit using the number pad.

I really don't wish to appear rude but a simple answer is all I require. If you don't wish to answer or think I should go elsewhere then don't bother to reply. The internet can be such a chore sometimes.

I use a Geforce 440mx and the demo ran fine for me. I do have a P4 2.4Ghz and 1gig of ram though which would help a little.

I hate to bump up an old topic...but if you have the docking scenes turned on in XT and you dock your fighter with your TL you sometimes see guys in space suits floating in the landing bay. I suppose they could be thought of as crew members.

I'm in a similar position, created a small corp (no plans for universal domination just yet) to help with the tedium of mining. Having a few people to talk to and help out occasionally really adds to the game.
